Worship Arts

Calling all singers, musicians, and tech people! The Desert Hope Worship Arts Ministries seeks to serve Jesus through worship, music, and the use of media on a weekly basis all throughout the year. The Worship Arts Ministries include Praise Team, Media Team, and Voices of Hope.

• Praise Team is a band with rotating members and guests. Praise Team leads congregational singing at Sunday services.
• Media Team serves in audio-visual aspects for in-person services plus provides the technical support for our church’s livestreams.
• Voices of Hope is our church choir. The choir sings for three holidays during the year: Easter, Reformation Sunday, and Christmas Eve.

About Dr. Greg Silverman

Dr. Greg Silverman serves as the Director of Worship Arts. He first joined the Desert Hope staff in 2017. Previously, Dr. Greg had the opportunities to lead an original composition at The White House, sing at Carnegie Hall & Giant Stadium, and appear on international broadcasts such as the Trinity Broadcasting Network, Daystar, and the Inspiration Network. Dr. Greg released his first full length album in 2004 and has released other recordings since. He received the doctoral degree in classical choral conducting from the University of Arizona in 2013.
